October 2009 – Ferrandino and Son Recognized as Leading National Snow Removal Company
Article: Snow Magazine, the industry’s leading news source, recently published its list of the Top 100 Snow Contractors in the country. Ferrandino & Son, who previously did not take part in Snow Magazine’s due diligence for this list, decided to participate this year and quickly became a "company to watch." Appearing for the first time on the list as the 7th ranked snow contractor, Ferrandino & Son has identified themselves as a major partner in snow removal. Vice President of Operations, Dave Karcher, recently stated, “Our clients continue to position Ferrandino & Son as a significant resource for all exterior services. September 2009 – Ferrandino and Son Selected as Hybrid Solution for National Retailer
Every retailer is looking for a service solution that combines the cost-efficiency demands of the current marketplace with a program that protects and enhances Brand. With Ferrandino and Son's hybrid solution of self-perform and vendor partners, they have positioned themselves as a single-source solution for many of their existing customers. With their recent partnership with a Big-Box retailer, Ferrandino and Son has been selected as the primary service provider for more than 2,300 locations across the 3 disciplines. "Their subject matter experts within each core-discipline provided the day-to-day Management our facilities require", stated the retailer's Director of Facilities. June 2009 – New Regional Office Opens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Ferrandino & Son announces the opening of their newest Regional Office, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This location will supplement Ferrandino & Son’s already vast network of self-perform crews and in conjunction with their National network of vendor partners, will allow the company to support their existing client base across the country. This facility will house a State-of-the-Art Call Center, which will increase call volume capabilities by ten-fold and will ensure that Ferrandino & Son stays at the forefront of Facility Maintenance. With their existing Regional office in Orlando, Florida and Corporate Headquarters in Farmingdale, New York, Ferrandino & Son continues to expand their infrastructure to mirror the growth of their client base.

February 2009 – Unveiling of New Call Center Tracking Solution
Ferrandino & Son today unveiled an expanded Call Center solution. Utilizing an expanded data network among their Regional offices and crews, Ferrandino & Son will be able to better track services in Real-Time utilizing their proprietary IVR software. This will increase the company’s ability to provide customized reporting to all of their clients. Initially scheduled to be completed in June of 2009, the project was completed ahead of schedule for the 2009 Landscape season.

November 2008 – Ferrandino & Son Develops Partnerships for Enhanced Weather Projections
Ferrandino & Son announces an enhanced partnership with weather organizations NOAA and Accu-Weather. These expanded relationships will allow Ferrandino & Son to capture snow accumulation and current radar projections in Real-Time. The projections can then be downloaded to Ferrandino & Son’s snow removal trucks. Utilizing this technology for both their self-perform and vendor partners has allowed the company to deliver faster response times and increased reporting capabilities to clients. This enhancement in technology will continue to position Ferrandino & Son as a leading provider of snow removal across the country.

May 2008 – New Regional Office Opens in Orlando, Florida with Focus on Hurricane Relief
Ferrandino & Son announces the opening of their newest Regional Office, located in Orlando, Florida. Designed as a hub for their Disaster Recovery operations, this location will be the launching point for maintenance crews in the Southeast United States. With warehouse space to store all categories of supplies and materials, Ferrandino & Son will also use this location to provide a base for their FEMA-certified First Responders. The new office will allow Ferrandino & Son to provide increased support during the upcoming Hurricane season.
