National Sales Account Manager

Excellent career opportunity for an Outside Sales Account Manager reporting to the Director of Business Development! We are seeking an upbeat, career motivated, self starter to join our Business Development team. This position involves using your talents to prospect and develop business over the phone, calling on existing and prospective customers and qualifying and developing leads.

Essential Functions:

  • Client presentations
  • Calling on clients both over the phone and in person
  • Comfortable with a team-environment, especially with working with a dedicated inside sales representative
  • Able to multi-task and set priorities
  • Capable of using critical thinking skills in a variety of situations
  • Initiate sales by prospecting and qualifying potential lead;
  • Prospect and cultivate new business relationships with potential new organizations to meet sales goals, profitability levels and other key business indicators
  • Attend tradeshows
  • Significant overnight travel
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Experience and Education:

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant sales experience
  • A proven record of exceptional sales performance, with a background in cold-calling on customers 
  • Significant experience in client presentations, with a track record of building and delivering presentations in front of Executive Management
  • Ability to close clients both over the phone and in person
  • Experience in working with CRM tools
  • Facility and Maintenance experience a plus but not required
